I currently attend the Georgia Institute of Technology or Georgia Tech. Not Georgia Tech University as the less informed call it. I am working to complete a bachelor of science degree in computer science. My specializations are networking and computer graphics. I also work as a programmer for the Orkand Corporation. On my current contract I program in SAS for the HIV Epidemiologic Study. HERS is sponsored and maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Reproductive Health.
Before coming to Georgia Tech I attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. There I completed a bachelors degree in math education with a minor in physics. While at Tech I worked for Mr. Roy Waters in the Computing Center as an applications programmer, and like all good programmers my "office" was in the basement. ;-)
My family lives all over the country. My Mother lives in Shreveport, Lousiana where she is a member of the Krewe of Centaur. My sister has recently moved to Layton, Utah to be with her husband. They were married on September 22, 1995. She is studying to be a physician's assistant. My aunt and her two children live in Winnfield, Louisiana. She decided it was better to raise her children in a small town where they could be close to their roots. After the oil industry went bust, my uncle decided to follow a dream and moved his family to Red Lodge, Montana. They now hand make toys for all ages out of natural and non-toxic materials. If you ever find yourself near the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park make a trip over Bear Tooth Pass to visit my uncle's store, Magpie Toymakers. You won't be disappointed by the scenery or the store.
If you want to put a face to some of the people I mentioned above visit my family photo gallery.
